a humble beginning
Movies are, and have been, a big part of entertainment throughout my life. The art of storytelling makes me happy. Seeing Star Wars at Cine Capri with my Dad and Brother, and watching Night of the Living Dead, Alien, and anything Hitchcock, are earliest memories of movie happiness. Over the years, I started to notice the amount of puking I have seen woven into movies. I mean, there’s a lot of heaving.
I began critiquing the use of the heave, asking myself how it furthered the scene, the emotion, the depth of the story. I found lots of unnecessary barfing. Finally, after seeing another senseless, poorly executed and unnecessary heave, I declared, “It's time." So, the blog was born, covering movies I see each month in the theater.
This blog focuses on the ralph, and just the ralph. The ratings are for the ralph, not the overall movie. There might be a spoiler here and there, depending on the placement and execution of the spew, but I will try to keep those at a minimum. The photos used for each month are from the movie I enjoyed the most overall from the list. Thank you for visiting my site and have a laugh at the good, the bad, the barf.
